It has taken far too long to get this photos up. I have so much going on I can’t keep up.
I managed to get to the DePaul Prep volleyball match against Maine East last Friday evening before heading over the cover the Lane Tech v. Lincoln Park football game at Lane Stadium. So glad I did. It was fun just being a photographer again. Plus I love photographing volleyball. It is very challenging. I feel like I am getting better at it and getting some interesting shots.
On top of that I felt myself getting a little emotional about being in the Tom Winiecki Gym knowing it is the last season of games in there.
The DePaul Prep Rams girls volleyball “program” is coming to the end of its 4A season—just a little more than a week to go and onto the IHSA playoffs.
After a little bit of a slow start in the opening set, the Rams turned it around and dispatched Maine East, a little less that one hour’s time. Which I appreciated because I had to walk over the bridge and to the football game.
